In Voice and Verse celebrate
500 years of
British Music & History.

A pageant of readings and music from across the centuries, it celebrates the nation’s monarchs and the highlights of British history.

This programme offers music by Handel, Beethoven, Purcell, Holst and Britten, as well as ‘Rule Britannia’ and the National Anthem. The words include poetry by Queen Elizabeth I, Shakespeare, Milton, Tennyson and John Betjeman.

Run Time: 2 x 45 minute halves plus interval.
During the performance we will project a selection of texts, images & other information.
